The Power of U uses photo-essaying as a medium to call attention to the richness immigrants bring to this nation. Many featured on this site immigrated to this country Undocumented or as refugees, some are third or fourth generation descendants of immigrants.
Today, as legal residents and citizens we want to make sure our stories are known, that we are Unashamed of our journey here, and that we are Unified in advocating for those that are currently Undocumented in this country.
